Laura Ferguson, postdoc in the Messing lab, is the recipient of Dell Medical School's 2^nd annual Shine Award for Excellence in Research by a Trainee (post-doctoral non-clinical) for her work on “Transcriptome-guided diagnosis and therapy for alcohol use disorder.”

The Shine Awards are a celebration of investigation and inquiry at Dell Medical School.  It is awarded in recognition of exemplary work in Dell Med’s mission to revolutionize how people get and stay healthy.

Dr. Ferguson will be honored at a virtual ceremony on April 13th at 12pm, where she will give a brief presentation about her work.  Guests are welcome to attend and may register by clicking here.
