Dr. Ferguson is a neuroscientist interested in understanding the genomic contributions to addiction and other psychiatric illnesses. She believes that understanding these diseases at a molecular level is critical for her ultimate goal of finding better treatment options. Dr. Ferguson did her dissertation research under the mentorship of Dr. R. Adron Harris and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Robert O. Messing's laboratory.
