Congratulations to Dr. Katie McCormick, postdoc in the Claborn lab and Cowden Research Fellow, on receiving a K01 award from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. K01 awards are intended to provide support and protected time for an intensive, supervised career development experience in the biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences leading to research independence. 

Dr. McCormick received this award to support her research project entitled “Adapting and Pilot Testing Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention for Substance Use Peer Workers”
